Is This Really Happening?

With the Covid-19 virus shutting everything down and social distancing, I feel as if I woke up in tbe twilight zone?

One day we’re all going about our lives as normal then BAM! Lockdown.

An End or A Beginning?

I’ve spoken with some friends and we’ve batted around some ideas just trying to figure out life right now.

A few of us see this as an end to life as we knew it and the beginning of a sci-fi thriller type existence.

For some, this excites us. What new skills must we learn to survive? For others it is scary and immobilizes them.

I truly believe that to live in fear is no way to live at all.

Do What We Must

I won’t live in fear. I do what I can.

I sanitize my house. I wash my hands. Keep my distance. But if its my time it’s my time.

I have a faith in a God who is more powerful than any virus. He says if we reside in His shelter, if we rely on Him, then no plague will come on us.

Yes, I believe, I declare it that my God whom I call Jesus will protect me and my family.

Zombie Apocalypse

In retrospect of what I just stated, I say, Bring on the zombies!

But in all seriousness, this is a time for families to come together. Friends to reach out to long lost friends and start seeing what is truly important.

Life was moving so fast and we were all losing site of what really mattered.

So, is this virus really such a bad thing? Or is it God’s way of putting things into perspective for us?
